Rigger Boots

Rigger boots are a particular type of safety boot; the name rigger comes from off shore oil rigs where the rigger boot is most commonly utilized. But in more modern times they are widely used in the constructional, agricultural and other industries as a general work boot/safety boot.

The standard colour for “Riggers” is tan and go up to just below the knee (similar length to wellington boots). Riggers always feature a steel toe cap and metal midsole. The inside of the boots generally are lined with fur to keep the user warm during the winter months. Riggers usually feature a pull on loop at the top to make it easier to slide on.

When purchasing Riggers you need to make sure they comply with ISO standard EN:345 as some of them are intended as fashion items not safety boots.
