ALL AT SEA IN SPAIN

“Would you like to take a trip on my boat” Len our neighbour in Alicante said. It is moored in the marina and we could take the boat out for a Sunday cruise. As we were both on holiday with our brother in law we accepted this kind invite. Sunday arrived and a toot on the car horn from outside our house indicated that Len had arrived. We soon were travelling the 12 kilometres into Alicante.

Alicante City often known as the city of light is a very busy commercial city that is situated in the province of Valencia on the Costa Blanca (meaning white coast). Nearby to the Marina is a tiled walkway which has over 5.5 million marble tiles laid in a pattern to resemble the waves of the sea (mar). Along this walkway are craft stalls selling local items. We soon arrive at the Marina and pass through the Security with a welcomed “Buneos dais” translated good days. Along the mooring path we continue and climb aboard the boat.

Len starts the engine and after a cloud of smoke the engine purrs into action. We all look the part wearing the new range of NFF boat shoes. Great as the soles are both non slip and non marking. Slowly we edge out of the harbour. A five kilometre speed restriction is in place passing several huge vessels that must belong to politicians or millionaires.

Soon we are cruising on the open sea and Len accelerates with the hull raising above the waves and the spray giving us a cool welcomed shower. It is very important to ensure that sun cream is applied before venturing out onto the Mediterranean sea, as the sun is extremely strong and can be very harmful to the skin.

Soon we had reached Gran Alacant and the anchor was dropped. The engine was silenced and all was left to do was to lay back and enjoy the tranquillity whilst improving the tan. Whilst here at Newforest Footwear.com we cannot offer you a trip around the bay of Alicante, which is looked over by the 9th century Castle of Santa Bárbara (Castillo de Santa Bárbara), we can supply the best boat shoes available in a range of styles to suit all tastes. All our boat shoes are made of the finest quality leather and have rubber multi directional soles to avoid slipping and are non marking. They are sourced direct from the factory and sold at prices comparable to mass produced shoes imported from third world counties.

Where style and quality matter the NFF range of quality boat shoes fit the bill and are prefect both on land or at sea. We challenge you to put them to the test
